Joko Widodo, the populist Jakarta governor, succeeded winning Indonesia’s election by a close call 53.15% of the total votes. So far, the controversy is still lingering around. His rival, the ex-military general Prabowo Subianto, rejected the results and announced his withdrawal from the race. However, many Indonesians like to think that Jokowi, as he popularly called, will eventually lead Indonesia.
